What you will do at AMC:

The Pharmacy Technician at AMC provides technical and clerical assistance for processing of medication orders and helps to insure fluid communication with local pharmacies as well as clinic providers and patients. Identify preferred pharmaceutical formularies and follow up with patients to address medication related issues. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and skills:

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree      (GED) required;
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State      of California required;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills      required;
  • Knowledge and ability to complete prior      authorization requests, TARS, medication reconciliations, CURES reports,      etc. preferred;
  • 1-2 years healthcare, pharmaceutical experience      preferred;
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
